Results from the online survey of SC & NC festival and event planners are now available.
The South Carolina Festivals and Events
Association (SCFEA) & the North Carolina Association of Festivals and Events (NCAF&E) conducted a study to gain a
better understanding of the type and scope of festivals and events across the Carolinas. Both SCFEA & NCAF&E
recognize the importance of festivals and events to our communities, and hope this study will help all of us to better understand
their diversity, issues, and logistics. Special THANKS to Dr. Wayne Smith and Dr. Andrea Canberg from the College of Charleston's Dept. of Hospitality
& Tourism Management and Dr. Stacy Tomas and Dr. Samantha Rozier from the NC State University's Dept. of Parks, Recreation
