CONFERENCE INFORMATION
The SCFEA annually hosts a statewide conference of festival and event planners, volunteers, and vendors. You will
find quality educational workshops representing the ever-changing trends in special event management, and entertainment ShowCase
where producers can view and book their festival's entertainment, an exhibit hall with special event suppliers including
firework companies, food vendors, specialty insurance groups, amusements, entertainment, and much more. You'll absolutely
find everything you need to plan your next event - whether it's the first year or 30th!
Conference Agenda & Registration
Early-bird registration deadlines have been extended
to Monday, January 14th. No need to overnight registrations, just be sure to have your postmark by 1/14/08.
Advertising, Exhibit & Sponsorship Registration
Advertising in the Conference Program is limited.
Payment and ad must be received no later than January 14th. Overnight payments can be mailed to 102 Britton Lane; Charleston,
SC 29418.
Awards Application
The Awards deadline has been
extended to Friday, January 11th. Award entries MUST be received by this time to be included in judging. Overnight
packages can be mailed to: 1 Groves Wood Place; Columbia, SC 29212 or can be delivered in person
to the Columbia Action Council at 722 Blanding Street; Columbia, SC 29201.
Auction Donation Form
Your donation support is needed for our Silent Auction.
Please fax your donation form as soon as possible to be included in program recognition. You can ship your donation
to 102 Britton Lane; Charleston, SC 29418 or bring it with you to conference registration.

LOCATION
Situated in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, the Embassy Suites Hotel offers guests the best in luxury, convenience,
and affordability. The room block for Saturday, January 26th is full. Rooms are still available for $219/night
at the Embassy or a special SCFEA rate at the Hampton Inn (next door) of $149/night. More information can be found at

and the best possible rate for Saturday. Each room night includes a free, hot breakfast and afternoon happy hour.

EXHIBITS
Each year, special event vendors are invited to exhibit and network with festival and event planners. Exhibits
will be on display in the beautiful, marble floored Embassy Suites atrium on Sunday, January 27th. Exhibitors will be
on had to provide information on thier products and services. This is a great opportunity to speak with vendors you
may need or want at your next event.
