2008 Award Winning Festivals & Events Awards for 2008 SC/NC festivals
& events were given out at the 2009 joint SC/NC Carolina ShowFest Conference and awarded by the SC Festival
& Event Association and NC Association of Festivals & Events in Greenville,
SC on February 9, 2009. The 2008 Awards Luncheon was proudly sponsored by Pyrotecnico! Most of the 18 different categories reflect an overall winner from the two states in each of the two budget
categories. Awards for Best Volunteer, Sponsor of the Year, and Director of the Year have a winner from each state. In the category of EVENT OF THE YEAR there was one overall winner and a
runner-up from each state. Congratulations to all of the fantastic winners!
